B is for Beer

Beer...For me there is only one real beer. Well, stout, really. GUINNESS. I cannot pass up an opportunity to blog about one of the most welcome writing tools I have.

"Tool?" you say.

"Yes, tool." Anything that has the ability to put me in a peaceful, content mindset and helps me to tap into my creative side unimpeded is a tool.

Guinness. I only need one. I'm not a lush. One "Guinness glass" of black and creamy comfort. What do you enjoy as you write?

Cheers.

If you want to read more about my affinity for Guinness, I included a link of a vintage blog of mine. Just click the glass of Guinness.

I love Guinness too. (My husband and I are homebrewers.) Have you ever had a chocolate stout? If you haven't, you must.

OMG, Connie! Are you serious? You mean they have taken my favorite food group and combined it with my favorite health drink? I gotta get me some of that. Thanks for the tip.

Can't go wrong with Guinness or someone who writes about it.

I loves me some Guinness, although when I write, a (tall) glass of Merlot will usually grease the creative gears for me.

I've had Guinness in England (where's it's a full 11%) and it's just too strong for me. Guess I'm a wimp when it comes to beer.

Love the Guinness! But it's so filling if I have one I usually skip dinner. Strong peppermint tea is my usual daytime writing drink.

Ah, nothing helps the writing ideas flow like a frothy cold beer - mine is a Granville Island Cypress Honey Lager (big name for a good beer!)

Thank you for adding yourself as a Follower on my site - nice to have a fellow Canadian on board!
I will be adding myself to your Followers list as well!

Whatever floats your boat. Er, runs your engine. Er, jumpstarts the imagination. Er...

What I'm trying to say, is use whatever means necessary to write!

That was quite a good B choice!

I used to tell people that Guinness was like the espresso of beers. Definitely one of my favorites, and I vow to travel some day to Ireland to have one... I'm told they're very much different there!

I actually have an entire blog dedicated to beer, which is one of two blogs that I'm participating in this A to Z Challenge on!

I'm a little late to the party but going to comment anyways.

Good choice. I like to have a Guinness every now and then. I don't drink very often but spent my first few legal drinking age years in Utah, which has weird alcohol regulations. I haven't found a go to drink or food item yet when it comes to writing. One day during a nanowrimo I had "special" cookies. That's what I get for eating a cookie my roommate made without asking questions first.
